About Kansas City Chiefs Vodka
Once the largest mail-order whiskey producer in the US, J. Rieger & Co. was founded in 1887 by Jacob Rieger, an Austrian immigrant. The company was forced to shut down at the start of Prohibition and wasn’t revived until 2010, when a plan was set in motion by Ryan Maybee and Chef Howard Hanna, eventually securing the original trademark. In 2014, they re-launched with the help of the legendary Dave Pickerell. The Kansas City Distilling Company is Jacob Rieger & Company’s latest venture and a way to expand their flagship Rieger’s line with the same dedication to their craft. Released in 2022, the limited-edition Red Kingdom Vodka celebrates the 50th anniversary of the opening of the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in 1972. Kansas City Chiefs Vodka is distilled from 100% corn using a copper still, making for an exceptionally clean, smooth, and versatile spirit that’s bottled at 80 proof.

About Vodka
Historians are not clear on the exact origin of vodka since different sources link its beginning to both Russia and Poland. But one thing is clear: this somewhat simple spirit, first used as a medicinal concoction, has become one of the most versatile drinks in the world.
It can be distilled from any type of grains, potatoes, or even grapes worldwide. Due to its simplicity, this unaged spirit’s main flavor factor is the quality of water and the ingredients used in the distillation process.
Primarily used in cocktails, vodka can also stand its ground when enjoyed neat.
