About Saint James Agricole Imperial Blanc Rhum
Produced in Saint Marie, Martinique, Saint James rums all come with the AOC (appellation d’origine contrôlée ― controlled designation of origin) certification. This means that the rum is made by fermenting pure cane juice, which is then distilled on Creole columns. No sweetening agents are permitted, which means you’ll find none in Saint James Agricole Blanc Rhum. The clear white rum is bottled at 80 proof and features aromas of sugar cane, as well as fruity, peppery, spicy, and floral notes.

About Rum
Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.
We distinguish between 4 different Rum categories, where white or unaged rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark, spiced, and añejo (aged) rum are mostly enjoyed neat.
